Next edition of the festival will be on the 10,11 and 12 January 2013. Make sure to write down these dates!

Dear friends, WE DIT IT! And let me tell you that ... we did it well! Our last edition, despite all security concerns, was a great success in terms of organisation, music and public.

And what a surprise when Bono of the U2 was announced on our stage! Difficult to explain the emotion when looking at Bono dancing with the Director of our festival on the sand... See the video of Bono playing with Tinariwen and Bassekou Koyaté.

More than 50 nationalities were represented during the festival! Thank you for coming!

And a very special thank you to the government of Mali who put in place a strong security all around the festival site, in Timbuktu and all the way from Mopti to Timbuktu.
